Hello 2015!

Hi there! It's been a while :) I have never been a particularly dedicated blogger in previous incarnations, but I have this new(ish) hobby, that has me crazy happy excited. So I'm going to give this whole sharing business another go.

Things you might not know about me...

I make things. All the time. For around 6 years, this was mostly quilts, with a few knitting projects in the mix. But since the summer of 2014, scrapbooking has my heart. I started out with Project Life, and it all got a little out of control from there. I currently love to make 6x8 layouts and am super excited to start my 2015 Project Life album.

My blog title is an M.R. James reference. I love weird tales and ghost stories. Lovecraft and James have been a huge part of my life forever.

I live in Ireland with my awesome partner Dan and our cat-daughter Sid. Our house is slowly falling down around us. I hope we can maybe possibly paint my studio one day.

I still love to knit. Everywhere and always. These days it is mostly socks for Dan and shawls for me.

I have a ridiculous collection of Blythe dolls. 

This new year's day was just perfect. I got to do every single thing I love in one bright new day. And I made this layout to tell my new year story. Two 6x8 pages using mostly the Studio Calico Walden scrapbook and card kits, with Ali Edwards Firsts story stamp.

Layouts without photos are something I have really enjoyed lately. Basically just me making pretty journal pages to capture memories worth capturing.

I need to get my photos for the first week of the year printed shortly, then I will hopefully be back to share my Project Life process and plans.
